Anthony Mann's Winchester '73 coming to 4K UHD from Criterion in January!

Update (4/15/25): Criterion has been able to replicate the freezing issue on their end, which are affecting select copies/players. They've now made replacement copies, so if you are in need of one, please send an email to mulvaney@criterion.com.

Warning: Some members have reported playback/freezing issues around the 29:30 mark of the film (during the start of the poker game at Riker's). Some say if you leave it alone, it will resume playing after a minute. This issue appears to be more frequent on the OPPO UDP-203, but also on the Sony X700. If you are experiencing the same issues, please send an email to mulvaney@criterion.com. The more people reporting this, the greater likelihood of a replacement disc.
