Default i need help picking software.

Ok..... Im building a new system and i'm getting my first blue ray rom drive. (a lite-on Model DH-4O1S-11 - OEM) according to lite-on it requires a third party software to play the movies. Its my understanding that they all have thier pro's and con's. What program will play the most current titles out? Is it better to buy several different to build an arsonal so to speak? Im dual booting XP and vista (both 32bit) so OS isn't an issue. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
