Because life is unfair...Hopefully someday this particular case will change. I assume it's either a rights issue or the owners are just being rude.

Can't speak for streaming...

but you can pick up the trilogy on Blu-ray.

If your referring to the series? You can find that on Blu-ray too.

Was glad the series got a blu release and I'd love for the movies to get 4k remasters as well for both digital and physical media. Not sure why it's not available for streaming for the series.
