Man, this classic isn’t even out on DVD in its OAR. What’s the holdup on this one? The wait is driving me so crazy I walk like this

Maybe then the remake plans died, Universal shelved it.

It's pretty amazing that Steve Martin won Best Actor from the National Society of Film Critics, though. Comedies usually don't get acclaim like that.

Count me in as a fan anxious to see this released in a widescreen format. Disappointing there isn't any version existing that does this film justice. searched all over with no success. Is there any petition we can sign or avenues to pursue with someone asking for a proper release.

Such a satisfying comedy. It's time for some love for this one and it deserves a BD release. I'm glad to see it at least has a wish list thread. Two of our greatest comedians in great form.

Pretty good comedy. Just watched it for the first time and it probably would've been something I'd have found hysterical when I was a kid. It was actually pretty lewd for PG; definitely not family-friendly and apparently the original submitted cut got an R rating. It's kind of wild how watered down the PG rating has become and is becoming rarer for live action movies.
