Would buy it on Blu-ray in a heartbeat. Sadly, I don't see it happening now that Disney owns it.

It doesn't help any that the HD master for this you can stream looks like garbage.

edit: you could stream. It was on Tubi but has since been taken off not available to stream anymore anywhere.

Disney stinks at handling Fox catalog it's a disgrace.

It’s beginning to appear like Kristy Swanson is a recurring theme in lost, out-of-circulation, and interfered-with films. Ferris Bueller got cut and an hour is now lost, Flowers In The Attic and Deadly Friend got edited to all hell and those original cuts are now lost, and now I hear of The Chase which is obviously out of circulation because Disney is sitting on it. Hopefully they don’t pull any stealth remasters for copyright reasons (like they did with Star Wars and Song Of The South), and The Chase will hit public domain in 2091.

The real answer is just release the damn movie, but that’s to decent for Disney to do.

Sorry to sound like a dick, THS, but this is the wish list section. Unless someone moved it to the normal section, this is still a release that’s not happening. Sorry, wish I had better news.

there is a 720P HDTV rip on the web which looks quite decent to OK , the problem is it has lots of video noise (not grain) and obvious low bitrate but AFAIk there is no better alternative ATM
