Star Wars franchise 4K steelbooks ~US$20 shipped each if you buy the set from FNAC

FNAC (France) is where I got my 11-steelbook set from last year. Since there's no sign of a U.S. 4K steelbook set anytime soon, I figure there might be some people interested in this.

This deal started May 4 (May the Fourth...) so I don't know how long it will last.

All Star Wars 4K, Blu-Ray, and DVD are currently discounted when you buy in multiples of 3 (so 3, 6, 9, or 12 items). This presents a problem if you want all 11 steelbooks, as you need a 12th item. 12 in your cart actually ends up being cheaper than 11.

Or you can just stick with the original 9 titles, omitting Rogue One and Solo... or any combination of 9 actually.

After VAT is removed and international shipping added, it works out to the following:

9 titles = 174,66 euros = US$184.15 delivered to the U.S., which works out to US$20.46 per steelbook.

12 titles (doubling up on any one of the 11 titles) = 229,27 euros = $241.73 delivered, which works out to US$20.14 per steelbook.

This is considerably less than what I paid last year per title for the complete set of 11 4K steelbooks.

As always, shipping steelbooks from overseas is a risk when it comes to damage in transit, so YMMV as to whether or not you're comfortable buying steelbooks from abroad.

Ideally, you'll want to have a credit card that does not incur currency conversion fees to maximize the deal.
