Default This is Us (TV show)

I consider this to be one of best shows on TV right now. It is out on DVD but is absent from Blu-ray releases. How come NBC/Universal?

I might air on NBC but it's not a Universal show, it's owned by 20th Century Fox and we all know how they feel about TV on BD. Maybe once it's all done airing, somebody like Mill Creek could release it.

A lot of Fox titles have moved to DVD-R in the last couple of years.

At least a DVD is something, especially as they've had a lot of titles up since last year at Amazon (including Season 2 of this) with no release date in sight.

Of course I'd buy a BD of either/both Seasons, but right now I'm not very certain we'll get anything.

Is this show so unknown / unloved that I only find this thread? Loved this show and I'll miss it.

I say this show is widely popular. Not into it myself, but it's *is* popular.

The only way though we'll see this on Blu-ray is if Shout! can convince Fox/Disney to start a full sublicensing deal.
