Been waiting for this for a long time so I will pre-order as soon as it's available. I do not like that artwork though. What were they thinking????

Terrible artwork. Why no Carol Ann? Or clown? Or TV? Or Tangina?

The pool was very unremarkable and I never think about that scene when I remember this movie.

Yep. Don't like that art. I will get the standard edition (hopefully with the iconic original poster art).

Why? Steelbooks usually cost a premium compared to standard releases. Consumers have every right to expect great artwork (allowing for personal taste, of course).

I only buy steelbooks as a special occasion when I actually like the cover art. Not liking this will save me a few bucks when I buy the standard edition.

The Zavvi one is so much better. I find I dislike a lot of the Mondo-style interpretations.

Guys keep in mind that the SteelBook art shown in the thread is an international release. The US release would also state a digital copy would be included.

Not 100% sure if the US will be getting a SteelBook or even if this would be the art for it.

Only one thing is for sure; we are supposed to get a 4K release this year.
