They didn't as there aren't any posts in there that were from the coupons thread. Looks like the thread and all posts were outright deleted. Hopefully we can get an explanation.

I only went through the original thread once, but I'm seeing a lot of the same posters and links there. Maybe folks were double-posting, and they nuked it after all.

I started the coupon discussion there to highlight some Criterion deals, and it turned into coupon/region discussion.. When the coupon thread was made soe including myself carried over our links to that one, but we also had numerous regions linked that aren't in that Criterion thread.

Yes, those are there, but the coupon thread also had multiple links for Florida, Texas, Northwest, and I think others too.

Blu-ray.com has always really seemed to depend on their amazon commissions. I've noticed in the past a new post with thumbnails of deals linking direct to amazon, within an hour, all thumbnails would direct you to blu-ray.com's listing page instead. Maybe the site couldn't modify all the links to ensure they get their commission? Or maybe they don't get commission linking entire sale pages? Where they might not fret random links in threads that no doubt get buried after a few days, or for temporary bogo deals that don't last that long, but an entire thread devoted to ongoing coupons might have seemed more threatening.
