My 3D TV Just Died.

Well, I suppose it was inevitable but my precious Samsung 65 inch 3D compatible TV with curved screen has finally bit the dust. Luckily I paid for the extended warranty on it and the Geek Squad came out today to try to resuscitate it... to no avail. Final word: can't be fixed and has to be replaced.

But as I feared, no more Samsung 3D model TV's are available anymore. (Seriously, fork you Samsung) Best Buy has agreed to replace it with a 65 inch Q7 Series QLED TV, which I'm excited about... but GODDAMMIT ALL TO HELL, I'm going to miss 3D.

For a great many films my collection, 3D was my preferred choice for viewing and I'm bummed at not being able to watch them anymore in that format. Just a short quick list of some titles I'm already grieving the loss of: Cue "Taps"...

And a slew of others. Seriously, this is truly a QUANTUM DICK PUNCH for me. It feels like a family member has died.

Adding insult to injury, amazon UK just shipped my BLACK PANTHER 3D and I have to cancel my READY PLAYER ONE 3D pre-order. I REALLY REALLY wanted to watch those. (Insert expletive here)

Any other lovers of the 3D format out there that also had to suffer the devastating loss of their apparatus? Looking to commiserate with some fellow 3D philes if there are any left.
