Even though I'm not holding my breath for this, hopefully this happens for real. I know Disney has never really been excited about releasing TV shows on DVD, and with the majority of them already being on Disney+, it seemed unlikely that Disney would release more TV shows on DVD. If this turns out to be a real release (regardless if it comes from Walt Disney Home Entertainment or Shout! Factory), then it could be a good sign for those who have been craving for more Disney TV content on DVD for years, if not decades now.
Even if this turns out to be a fake or it gets cancelled, I wouldn't worry too much about it since I already have a set of recorded DVDs of this show that I made back when it used to be on Disney Channel On Demand on Xfinity cable. |

It'd be nice to have the remaining seasons of Kim Possible on DVD.

Just purchased it. I'm actually pretty happy with it. It's a 7-disc set. The 52 episodes are on discs 1 to 6 in 4:3 fullscreen. No commentaries or other extras, sadly. The movie is on Disc 7, with the alternate ending and the 4 shorts. Unlike the original DVD release, the movie is presented in anamorphic widescreen, which reveals extra picture on the sides.
My only qualm is that I suspect there might be a deluxe complete series set in a few years when they conclude the Louder and Prouder series on Disney+, which would add that revival series to the set. Nick did that with Hey Arnold after they released the movie a few years ago that properly concluded the series, so I wonder if Disney will follow suit. |
