What actors/actresses had the best decade of film? - Blu-ray Forum

I'm having a discussion with some friends in another forum about the actors/actresses from each decade who had the best decade. For example, Al Pacino in the 70's, Harrison Ford in the 80's, Tom Hanks 90's....

What do you guys think are some other examples? I'm looking for some from every decade, from like the 1930's through the 2010's. Give me some more ideas!

I'd say that - as far as acclaim and popularity were concerned - she was whisper close to making the list for most of these decades (and still had an Oscar win - her fourth - ahead of her in the 1980's. An incredible display of sustained starpower. Only Bette Davis seriously rivaled her.
