Default Sunburn (1979) [Heiße Hölle Acapulco]- Farrah Fawcett, Charles Grodin

Seems this was released after all (back in May).
In the states this looks to be perpetually tied up in some Brut-style licensing BS.

I've never seen the film, and I'm not expecting too much- but I'm nostalgic for the era and was always curious to see it.
Early this morning, I saw there were four available at Diabolik. By the afternoon it was already out of stock.

So, has anyone here gotten this? If so, how's the transfer and encode? Are the titles in German or English?

I don't own the disc but concerning the subtitles: the description on the Explosive-Media-Site says: subtitles in German and English.

Thanks for the reply Smithee, but I was actually referring to the opening title cards (the film title), and whether that was still in English.

I've got it ordered through Diabolik, but won't be getting it until October as it's bundled with some pre-orders.
All the Explosive titles I have have been decent all around, so I hope this one will be more of the same.

I had preordered this from Amazon (it's a guilty pleasure of mine). Just a brief review: title card is English. It appears to be the same scan as the Japanese import from years back (and I'm assuming the MOD DVD that was released by MGM). Definitely HD, but no remastering at all... so lots of dirt, debris, etc. Something along the line of what Olive used to release. I went back and did a side by side with the DVD and it's a noticeable upgrade. Don't set you expectations too high and you should be happy with it.
