Default International editions of Miami Vice (2006)

There are 5 editions of Miami Vice on Blu-ray -- American, British, German, French, and Australian. The American Blu-ray features only the director's cut, while, I believe, all four international editions have only the theatrical cut. I'd like to have the theatrical cut on Blu-ray and I'm wondering if there is any difference between these international editions' transfers (and are all, or any, region free?). Also, I've never purchased a UK Blu-ray: do the ratings stickers only adhere to the shrink wrap, or are they embossed over the actual cover art?

Thanks in advance for any reply

Ratings are part of the cover on UK releases - so if they annoy you you'll need to get a custom cover or just not look at them!

The Oz release may have a reversible cover which has no ratings on them - but an Aussie better confirm that cause I don't know if it applies to Blus.

Sorry!

I believe all of the theatrical releases of Miami Vice are the same, apart from the rating logos on the case and cover art. The German release might be cut even more, but I cannot confirm that. All should be region free as its a Universal title. Although I would recommend picking up the US DC .

I'm very interested if someone could tell me from which country the 4k UHD version is streaming on Amazon. Meanwhile, there's both versions (theatrical re-encoded using AVC instead of the older VC-1) on disc here from Koch media Germany (translated): https://shop-kochfilms-de.translate...._x_tr_hl=en-US
