Is there any hope of more Emmanuelle films being releases? I know 1-3 with Sylvia Kristel was released in other countries. I am just wondering about the other emmanuelle series.

I got the Italian release of 1-3 and while they look and sound very good, the versions used seem to be cut. It might be my memory, but there are some scenes I remember being longer and sexier.

Does anyone know if there is a longer version?

I don't know anything about the Italian Emmanuelle movies (note that the producers of Black Emanuelle dropped one "m" from the title so the French studio behind the Kristel trilogy could not sue them), but I bought the 1974 Emmanuelle from Amazon last night and I received my Blu-ray a few hours ago. If I like it, I will get the other two films with Kristel, who I have liked since I saw her in Private Lessons back in the early 1980s.

As far as Black Emanuelle/Laura Gemser, Severin has been planning a box set for a looong time - currently they’re waiting out a rights situation on 4 of the films that’s supposed to be resolved some time in 2023.

I'd be day 1 for that set. I remember the headache of collecting them on DVD.
