If you do a CRTL + F on "shop items" and click that link it should take you to items related to whatever promotions are active on that item. But I'm not seeing that promotion show up on my screen when I click that Rango disc, so I'm not sure if it's tailored specifically for some people and not others, or it might have expired.

You're really overthinking a fairly meaningless promotional discount -- there's no real "secret" to figure out here.
For some reason Amazon has decided to add a very minor discount if you buy more than one copy -- it's likely implemented sitewide on items that probably make a lot more sense to order multiples of (household goods that you'd actually want in quantities greater than 1, for example) but I can't imagine many people are ordering Rango on UHD in high quantities for any reason whatsoever. My guess is it's just being generated by Amazon's AI on the back-end and whatever formula/algorithm they're using doesn't take into account the type of produced being purchase when offering this multiple-quantity discount. TL;DR -- It's really not worth any more of your time to "figure out." |
