Criterion Shallow Grave (1994)

Shallow Grave Blu-ray

Update: June 12 release confirmed by Criterion - 3/16/12

Just "hinted" with the partial framegrab below and then conclusively identified at Criterion's Facebook page:

I hope Shallow Grave includes the great commentary Boyle did for the UK BD release, as well as the making-of documentary by Kevin Macdonald that was on there.

The doc is about 45 mins, and is really "warts-and-all", as Macdonald was not an internationally acclaimed director then, but the unknown brother of the equally unknown producer working with the equally unknown director. The doc gives a totally unvarnished look at production, with lots of strife and money continually on the verge of running out. One of the better "behind the scenes" docs I've seen.

The video is decent on the UK disc, but it's single-layered and region-locked, I trust Criterion to blow it out of the water and make me gladly rebuy it
