Wonder if this is a title they tried to license to other labels but they weren't interested. Funny how boutiques would rather do endless upgrades and re-releases instead of releasing new titles like this.

Plus it's cheaper to re-use a HD master instead of having to do a whole new restoration.

Directed by the late, extremely esteemed Roy London and adapted from the screenwriter's play, it's 100% a mood piece, all atmosphere - that is, early 1990s neo-noir atmosphere (Bojan Bazelli would've killed this as cinematographer). An always soulful Whitaker, lovely Fenn and supporting cast (presumably London alumni, including Sharon Stone) assist. Fyi and fwiw.
