In this day and age I can't believe Sony did not give this a blu ray release today. It appears only Germany got a blu ray release. I had to rough it and blind buy the dvd! It looked pretty good for a killer bear flick with a decent enough cast.

I dont care about a blu release for this one. I am gonna rent it on redbox this week though. I like the cast and it looks like a good rental

Sucks about it not having a BD release. With this mostly taking place in nature it would have made for a beautiful BD release if done right.

This one was only decent. I'd give it a 6/10. I expected it to be more enjoyable than it was. I saw Backcountry shortly after I saw this and it's so much better it's not even funny.

This was just released in Australia on blu-ray. Available now. I plan on picking it up next time JB Hi-Fi has a sale. I'll update if it is region-free when I get it.

I think your spot on with the 6/10, that's what I thought. The last 20 mins were pretty enjoyable though. It was about what I expected. Still boggles me that it was not released on blu though. Will be checking out Backcountry when it's released.

I really liked this movie, but the only BDs available don't even appear to be the full length movie. One is listed at 96 minutes and one is 94. My DVD is 100. Film is art. They shouldn't be able to release them edited.

Hmm. I have the Aussie Blu Ray and it is 1:29:49. I thought the movie was great. Some awesome low frequency in it too, with bear attacks. https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Mo...20MA%205.1.jpg

I wonder if the Blu Ray is 50i? I don't think it was. I'll have a look. Hmm the DVD is listed as 86 minutes so the Blu isn't 50i.

Has anyone got a version that is actually 96 minutes, digital or other? iTunes has it 1:29 as well.

There are definitely instances of IMDb just being wrong.
