Hit the below links to check out the various trailers and clips for Warner Independent Pictures, Celluloid Dreams and writer/director Michael Haneke's "Funny Games," a remake of his own 1997 Austrian horror thriller of the same name, starring Naomi Watts, Tim Roth, Michael Pitt, Brady Corbet, Boyd Gaines, Siobhan Fallon, Devon Gearhart, Robert LuPone and Linda Moran. The film opens in limited release March 14, 2008.

It's a brutal, messed up movie. The original is anyway.

It will be interesting to see how much the Hollywood influence changes this from the original. Since Haneke is making his own movie again he himself would have to cave into the pressure.

For example, he does not employ any musical soundtrack to his films at all and can be quite brutal to sit through even if they violence is not shown on the screen. Looking forward to this one

It apparently hasn't changed hardly at all from all the reviews and coverage thus far that I've read. For those who have already seen the original, you will not likely be surprised by any of what happens in the remake.

This looks like it will be one of those films that will be an incredible amount of fun to watch when you know that you shouldn't be enjoying it that way.

Plus, what a great freakin' cast!!! Tim Roth and Naomi Watts RULE! I'm so glad these two will be onscreen together.

If it is close to the original, it shouldn't be fun at all. It is the kind of movie that will make you sick and angry to watch. I saw the original 10 years ago and there are few movies made in hollywood that will come close to frustrating you like this one. It will draw you in and then make you feel guilty for watching.

... Well, underneath the surface, that is part of the point. It's all about violence and an audience's willing participation or voyeurism in that violence.
