It's a shame that albums that would be just remastered and re-released with bonus tracks on CD get these bloated, overpriced super deluxe versions. Just do a two CD set and I'll buy it.

I want the BD but not for the price they are asking for it. I would never listen to the alternate takes.

Can only cross my fingers and hope they had access to some pre-bounce multis for the Atmos mix, otherwise I'm not sure just how big a mix you can deliver from a 3-track source.

I think you are covered, it looks like they are offering a 1 cd set and 2 cd set as well.

2 cd set:

I actually believe the above is a one disc set not a two disc set. Sorry for that misinformation. $12.69 as of this posting on Amazon. This gets you the new remix and 13 highlights from the unreleased stuff.

What I can't stand is how everything in the CD could easily fit on the bluray and all the other swag could be dropped.

I would buy that in a nanosecond.

Having a digitally pressed record is pointless.

The Atmos version is on Apple Music for those that can listen in the Atmos format and want to sample before buying a physical copy or just prefer to listen to it on Apple Music in Atmos. Sounds good to my ears. Added to my holiday playlist.
