The GOAT

Well, not just heard for the first time, but I've always hated it. I get that it stands for "the greatest of all time," but it just sounds so stupid. I'd rather take the one extra second to say that than call something "the GOAT."

LOL: makes sense in text to someone far away but every time someone says it after a joke it just makes them sound dumb. If you were just laughing out loud I heard it so I don't need you to tell me you did it and if you did not laugh out loud I won't think you did just because you said LOL

It might be because my social circle is people older than college age, but I can't recall in the past people including "bro" in nearly every sentence. It's a thing I see in nearly every YT video now but don't see in real life. Obviously I've heard the word before, though not with any frequency as is depicted at least online.
