Haven't selected a flag icon for this thread, as there are physical media DVD releases of Wiseguy in at least more than one country.

Have the first three seasons of Wiseguy already been released on DVD in Germany? Why I ask, is because I've checked out German label Pidax's website and saw listings for DVD releases of the first three seasons, and I wasn't sure if they were recent or older releases.

I hope so as well as The Moody Blues song. All 3 sets ordered! Misplaced my original VHS SLP tape recorded 33 years ago.

Ok. It's bad news for the Dead Dog Arc. It only plays in German. At first I thought my RF player was acting up so I switched to my PS5. I changed the language to English and EP plays but without sound. The audio for German is fine. The video however is a bit rough for this particular EP.

Music is an issue too. Hit the Road Jack was replaced by muzak on Stairway to Heaven. So, it's unlikely the Steelgrave EP has Night's in White Satin.

It's a let down. Even the images on the discs don't correlate with the content (actors from S1 are on S2 discs).

Perhaps an email to Pidax might get things fixed. It's lousy when the English track is blank.

I'm going to try another setup soon in case it doesn't like be run on a 4K tv.

Checked the next disc to see if the issue would repeat. It does. So, the music arc does not have an English Audio track. Even though you can select one.

All I can say about this tv show is that I had a crush on Joan Severance and liked the young Kevin Spacey’s acting. Bought the DVD collection back in 2012 for 18.18

VEI has a pre-order up. Looks like a repackage of their earlier set. So, no music arc again.

I received a pre-order notification for Wiseguy from VEI. It is stating that the release is 75 episodes which I believe is all of the episodes. I hope that it is true as the previous release only had 67 episodes, I believe.
