I hope they pack in the 3d blu-ray disc along with the 4k to make it an even better package. But it's WB, so I might have to go international for that. :/

Hoping beyond hope they somehow manage to release the first three animated films in 4K at some point.

Not surprising, unless it just doesn't do well and 4K gets canned but that's doubtful.... but Jesus, the HDR box is bad enough (and should be a sticker on the plastic, not printed onto the cover itself), I hope they don't start adding the XBox BS on it as well.

They would have too, however its owned by nintendo and not WB or miramax for the older films. At least thats what I heard. I could be wrong though.

Wait for the best buy steelbook or target special edition of it. Trust me, its got to be better.

Miramax still seems to have an iron grip on the four they released. I doubt Lionsgate would chalk up the cash to release them on 4K, but they definitely could use new masters, mostly 4Ever (shaky, grainy, appears several generations away from the Japanese masters) and Heroes (a blue tint cast over the video for some bizarre reason).

I really like the visual style of this movie and I'm keeping my hopes up that it will be good, but so far neither trailer has really done much for me. At first I hoped that maybe it was a Sony release and this was just another case of a boring trailer for a good movie, but I was a little worried when I saw it was WB. Gonna keep my fingers crossed. Will pick up the UHD day one either way, of course.

This site should have a FAQ (wait, does it?) and on it, have information such as this:

India puts the Xbox logo on their releases (or at least, the placeholder art) but it doesn’t show on the actual product.

And specially not on US releases. It’s NEVER there.

First time I'd seen anything like that, I don't typically go to topics where a movie hasn't even been released in theaters yet lol I just hope they don't ever do it, even the HDR box shouldn't be on the actual artwork, should be on the back or just a sticker on the shrinkwrap, but they were weird enough to put it on everything.

I think WB has phased out the HDR box on cover arts, unless WaterGuy was a one-off.

The first three movies have been released by Viz for years now. WB held the rights until about 2009-2010 when their three pack re-release DVD went out of print.
