Heat has recently appeared on Disney+ UK, but it's not the 4K version that's been on iTunes for ages and recently came out on UHD...
It's the old warner transfer in HD, cropped to 16:9. It looks terrible. It's pretty unusual for Disney to not put up the best version available... |

Oddly it's also currently on Amazon Prime in the UK. That version is only HD as well, but it is at least in the correct 2.35:1.

Not surprising to me. There are a lot of TV shows and movies that Disney+ had put up worse versions than what was available elsewhere, everything that had been cropped from its original aspect ratio or censored in any way comes to mind.
