Default Heat on Disney+ UK

Heat has recently appeared on Disney+ UK, but it's not the 4K version that's been on iTunes for ages and recently came out on UHD...

It's the old warner transfer in HD, cropped to 16:9. It looks terrible. It's pretty unusual for Disney to not put up the best version available...

Oddly it's also currently on Amazon Prime in the UK. That version is only HD as well, but it is at least in the correct 2.35:1.

Not surprising to me. There are a lot of TV shows and movies that Disney+ had put up worse versions than what was available elsewhere, everything that had been cropped from its original aspect ratio or censored in any way comes to mind.
