Wow. I’m sorry to hear that. Of the dozen orders or so I’ve done through Gruv within the past two years, it’s always been boxes 📦 and super fast. Maybe they’ve changed the way they ship them out

I've had similar issues with them a while ago, at least their customer service was fine and shipped replacements.

Recent orders showed up in boxes, but still no padding.

Maybe they're trying to get some more traction for GRUV, now that they're selling movies from other studios as well. I won't be surprised to see this release show up at retailers eventually, just like their exclusive best buy steelbooks that eventually made it to Target

How is gruv with preorders? If I order with a debit/credit card does it not charge me until it ships? Or a placeholder charge that drops after a few days? Or charged right away?

I usually use PayPal (immediate charge) but I pre-ordered Universal Monsters Vol. 2 4K and no charge yet, so I assume they charge for pre-orders at shipment.
