Synopsis: VINCENT PRICE HAS RESERVED A SEAT FOR YOU IN THE “THEATRE OF BLOOD”

It's never been tougher to be a critic than in THEATRE OF BLOOD, one of the greatest horror comedies of all time. Vincent Price gives a career best performance as Edward Lionhart, a veteran Shakespearean actor who, when passed over for the coveted Critic's Circle award for Best Actor takes deadly revenge on the critics who snubbed him.

Have you gone to the 'shop' bit of their website? The search box works differently in the shop compared to the rest of the web site and should bring up what you want with just a few characters typed.

I think I read somewhere that The League Of Gentlemen have recorded a commentary for this. I hope Diana Rigg is involved in the extras too.

Yeah it is so hard to click shop and then search for a movie. So much confusion.

Cool. The cheapo DVD version I have is truly awful quality. Was going to watch it in a few weeks but I think I'll hold off now!

When I went to http://www.arrowfilms.co.uk and put Theatre Of Blood in the search box the BR did not come up, it does now, but a few days ago it did not. And I wasn't the only idiot.

Is there another distributors website where if you did a search in their "search" box a BR of theirs wouldn't come up until you had to go to their "shop" link?

No Norbie, you're not. Arrow's search facility leaves a lot to be desired. I was looking for the new Dr Phibes set, and put "Complete Dr. Phibes" (without quotes) in the search engine: got no return. Tried with and without quotes, and with and without full stop, and selections of words, and still nothing. Only got a return when I put Phibes on its own. (So I ditto your finger smiley to the bottomfeeders who just want to post smartarse attempts at put-downs.)

I tried to order Theatre of Blood directly from Arrow, but since Feb 27 I can't open the website. I just get "Error establishing a database connection".

I'll wait till the price drops and buy it from Amazon instead. That'll save me on VAT as well.
