Loved the old one, it was simple yet effective. It also captured the tone and feel of the film. This one is way too busy, garish and tacky. Less is more.

There's already a thread for this one:

https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=379390

The UK and US releases should be the same other than the packaging.

Man...I wonder if Indicator ships out early. This and DtK for me are waiting on the March Indicator releases. Hopefully these don't sell out in the meantime...(in case there's an issue with my copies).

I received mine last week directly from Arrow. Big fan of this film - I've had pretty much all the versions over the years.

I've only had a couple of minutes to check the disc, but first impressions are great. Very vibrant colours, nice grain, good detail. I can't compare it to the old Arrow BD as that's locked away in storage, but I have a feeling this is a great upgrade.

Looking forward to watching the whole film soon.

(Agree about the cover - awful!)

It's a stunner and cover art on the 4K is reversible. But I think its great.

I take it the bottles of J&B practically surge through the screen!

Funny, I just got the Arrow Blu-ray in the mail today. Has slipcover, booklet, etc. I've never seen it but it sounds good.

It's a genuinely great film, one which still has at least one sequence which will make even the most jaded of modern audiences squirm in their seats.

We all know which bit...

Oh, and it's a real blast that the Arrow transfer kept the intermission cards, allowing you to nip off for a quick slash in exactly the same place Italian audiences did over 50 years ago!

I meant the same place in the movie - not on the same spot where they... you know...

This is already in the wind? Hope Atomic gets stock early and ships my copy. Glad to hear the PQ is good. Previous incarnations left plenty of room for improvement.

Way back when I first got into home theater and had zero clue what a Giallo was, I saw this DVD cover out at a like a Suncoast or something and thought it was the ugliest cover I'd ever seen. I have not changed my mind about that. lol
