Written and directed by Christian Gudegast (London Has Fallen), DEN OF THIEVES 2: PANTERA returns to everything fans loved about the original film, while answering unresolved questions and diving deeper into the lives of each character.

DEN OF THIEVES 2: PANTERA stars Gerard Butler (Plane, Has Fallen series) and O’Shea Jackson Jr. (Straight Outta Compton, Godzilla: King of the Monsters), who return in the sequel to 2018’s action-heist hit Den of Thieves. In DEN OF THIEVES 2: PANTERA, Big Nick (Butler) is back on the hunt in Europe and closing in on Donnie (Jackson), who is embroiled in the treacherous and unpredictable world of diamond thieves through the infamous Panther mafia, and their plot to pull off a massive heist of the world’s largest diamond exchange.

On January 28, DEN OF THIEVES 2: PANTERA will be available to buy for $24.99 and rent for $19.99(for a 48-hour period) on participating digital platforms where movies are purchased, including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Google Play, Fandango at Home, and more.

On March 4, DEN OF THIEVES 2: PANTERA will be available for $42.99 on 4K Ultra HD (+ Blu-ray™ + Digital), $39.99 on Blu-ray™ (+ DVD + Digital), and $29.96 on DVD.

Impressive looking package! I don't know enough about these two films to commit to a sixty dollar purchase. These would be blind buys and, frankly, when it comes to modern films, I gotta proceed with caution. Picked up a 2024 Sly Stallone film called Armor last week and it was terrible beyond belief. Typical DTV garbage.

Den of Thieves is in another league compared to garbage like that. Not sure if DoT is considered a B-Movie but if it is, it’s one of the best of the last couple of years. It’s also still the best of Butler’s more recent mid-budget action films

I agree about the first one. I haven't seen Pantera, yet. Did you see it?

I rewatched DoT via streaming a couple weeks ago and it lost about half a star of lustre on one hand, but surprised me in that it retained that much on the other hand...

Killer stuff, but not as good as some of the other gritty actioners we are getting such as - Triple 9, Dragged Across Concrete, Rebel Ridge, etc... But I can easily recommend DoT for fans of those movies.

This is unexpected good news. $60 for two Lionsgate steels isn't much to ask from me, as I've paid $35 for their single release catalog steels in the past. Looking forward to seeing the first again as all I can really remember is that I enjoyed it, and many films like it.

If you like Heat, then you will enjoy this. Haven't seen the second one yet but, most definitely will.

That is some lovely packaging, I like how they incorporated the shredded USD and diamonds into their respective films' designs.

Unfortunately I was pretty disappointed and underwhelmed by Den of Thieves 2. While the first film felt like a louder dumber Heat ripoff, which made it a lot of fun... the sequel is more like a later Fast and Furious sequel that takes itself too seriously.

Here's hoping the first film's director's cut also sees a standalone release.

The ones you mentioned are okay (Triple 9, Rebel Ridge) to excellent (Dragged Across Concrete) but Den of Thieves is still my favorite of these and holds up the best
