Default Sony A9S vs LG C1 for Movies?

I want to buy a 48 inch for a room for Movies, I'm not a hardcore gamer, I don't have any PS5 or Xbox and I don't think get one soon... I know gamers wants the C1 for 4 2.1 HDMI ports etc. but I only care about Movies for now.

So you think the 2020 Sony A9S is better for movies? Is a master series, the C1 is newer 2021.

I prefer the design of the Sony, looks better, the control remote is better too.

Sony uses Android TV, not Google TV like the recent models.

Any opinion? thanks!

So I know this is an old thread, but I'm curious if you made a decision. I got an A9S and have only watched some TV shows on it so far. It's amazing compared to the budget TV I had before. I plan to throw some discs up soon, maybe Wizard of Oz or something colorful.

My local Best Buy had a open box for this and I was thinking about this. But being neatly 3 years old I would be missing out on some newer features.

I looked over rtings and decided I was good. It may sound silly but I like the older Android TV interface, and I don't play games besides Switch so I don't really need the HDMI whatever that the newer Sony model has. Movies so far look good enough to me, especially the 400 bucks cheaper than the other model.
