Just watched this...it's straight crazy. Very perverse, very arty. I watched on criterion channel which would not some merit if criterion deems it worthy. I did like it though, parts were very uncomfortable, very European. Would be curious to see what the special features are.

Yeah, this was on the Criterion Channel for Halloween 2021 or 2022. An odd and fascinating film. I always appreciate when a classic is re-imagined in an intriguing way.
