Default Which TV Series You Want Blu?

There are many TV series that i want to see them in blu-ray, but then, some will never be in blu due to high costs to remaster them. Nevertheless, my wish list is

The X-Files,
24,
and Stargate SG-1,

all in complete series collection.

I'm not sure I would want to spend the money to get the whole series again, but I would definitely pick up a season or two of "The West Wing." Season 2's the best.

Friends (all seasons)

Early seasons:
  • The Big Bang Theory
  • House
  • Smallville

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (both series, just for the convenience of having them on a couple of discs)

I want the following so I can replace my DVD sets.

Magnum P.I.
Quantum Leap (Region Free from UK so we can get the music intact.)
Cheers (they are already shown in HD on T.V.)

I would also like the following Mini Series: Winds of War, War and Remembrance and North and South.

Not all are award worthy or anything but I would love to have them on blu. And yes, yes, yes I know some were filmed in 480i and blah, blah, blah but I don't care I just want them on blu. A bit upscaled or cleaned up is all I'd ask for some of the shows.

And aside from the terrific packaging Fox does for Fringe (or should I thank Warner Bros. ) someone please suspend them from making decisions for blus! Completely messed up Prison Break and kind of messed up 24. I'd hate to see future shows get left back in the dvd days because of them.

Right now my top two are probably The Wire and the first few seasons of Columbo.

I've never seen The Wire, so I'd blind buy it if it were available on Blu. And before anyone 's, I was young when it came on and I didn't have cable.

I haven't seen it either actually I haven't seen about half of what I listed probably, but they're all either shows I really enjoy / love or have a big interest in seeing

I've seen it. The wire is superb. Almost as good as the sopranos and others might say better.

BBC's Robin Hood
CW's Legend of the Seeker
Spike's Blade

The fact that these series aren't on BD even when they were filmed in HD is a travesty. Legend was rumored to get a BD release, much like when Sanctuary Season 1 did after its initial DVD only release, but it never transpired.

I'd also like to see a remaster of Babylon 5 ala ST:TOS will all new CG. But with JMS kind of pretty much washing his hands of the franchise after the DTV movies failed to catch on, I doube he'll spend the time and money to remaster it. A lot of picture clean-up would also be required, because even the DVDs weren't perfect.
