Facts:

DVD Size Case with Slipcover.
Appears to be a port of the US Grindhouse Releasing edition.
Uncensored Reversible Cover.
Contains two versions. Uncut Theatrical and Censored Edit.

If I remember correctly the R4 DVD was a direct port of the GR disc too. I'm sticking with the Grindhouse Releasing ED for the extra disc and my general appreciation of the label. Without them there would be no local release

I'll probably end up with this one too however

Hopefully I can find a decent Looney Tunes blu or something to wash the taste from my mouth when it is over

I'm still surprised it even got released in Australia at all. When it was announced for DVD, I assumed it would just contain the new edit.. was a pretty big shock when both versions were on it.

I have the Grindhouse DVD, and it's a beautifully packaged set, and have their Blu-Ray on pre-order too (which I just bumped the shipping method up a stage lol). I think i'll probably still get this version though, the DVD sized case is off putting, but I like the film too much to pass it up.

I have the local DVD release from a few years ago and can't wait to pick this one up when it's released.

Has the same booklet as th grindhouse version. Everythings the same. Fbi warnings and printing on the discs with the grindhouse label

Do people think this will be In stores or only online product? I say that because I have never seen the DVD in stores and I had to get my DVD from Jb hi Fi online a few years ago

The DVD was scarce. I grabbed it the first week out.

I think the new 2014 Blu-ray release is out this week.

Don't throw out your DVD copy just yet folks.. as I suspected based on the official review here, and a disc scan.. the Documentary "In the Jungle: The Making-Of Cannibal Holocaust (58 Min)" is NOT on this Blu-Ray release.
