movies you were ultimately disappointed with

What was a movie that you heard a lot about, were excited to watch but ultimately disappointed in seeing? I am thinking more classic movies or something with tons of hype that just didn't live up to it for you and not "I thought Iron Man 3 would have been better"(but by all means, include that too if you have nothing else).

Close Encounters of the Third Kind was probably the big one for me. Heard about this great sci-fi alien movie but when I watched it, I found it to be pretty bad. Looks fantastic but the story just kind of fell flat for me. For the effects side, deserves every bit of hype and attention it gets but otherwise, overhyped.
