I saw Pet Sematary 2 when it was released in theaters way back in the days of dinosaurs and remember it being the most hilariously awful thing ever. I have not revisited it since.

I don't think Pet Sematary 2 is in this collection. It's the original plus the 2019 remake.

Same, the sequel has a lot of “funny” moments with Clancy Brown.

Got excited until I saw this didnt include Pet Sematary Two. Granted it's not a good movie, but it's a blast of mean-spirited fun!

The biggest issue with it seems to be that a few relatively minor, but still noticeable, changes were made by the director that turned off a few long time fans of the film. Shouldn't be a problem for someone blind buying it though (wasn't for me even though I'd seen it once before).

It's a good watch too if you like eighties horror and Stephen King despite some underwhelming performances. It's not a perfect UHD but at least for me it was still one of those examples of a film that's made much more watchable by the format.

Yeah! Loved that!

I actually liked PS2 more than the first movie. I also have a soft spot for Clancy Brown, though, and at that time I was checking out every single movie he was in.
Still though... I haven't seen it since opening weekend, and I always wanted to see it again.

Just saw this post, unfortunately did the opposite and ended up seeing the remake first lol. It was fine, didn't hate it but certainly didn't love it enough to buy. I do wanna check out the original at some point though.
