Super Troopers - Blu-ray Forum

Super Troopers was suppose to come out yesterday (12/9/08) but when i went to best buy i only bought the Dark Knight because Super Troopers was no where to be found... does anyone have this movie yet on blu? and if so how is the PQ and AQ...

My local Moviestop had in stock for a stupid price when I was there yesterday, but it does seem as though BB isn't carry catalogue titles as readily as they have traditionally done on SD.

yeah i received my copy from amazon today too. this is the exact reason that i have switched to online shopping for blus. if you like to buy catologue titles, then online is the way to go. i realized that after about 4 straight weeks of trips to best buy and them never having the catologue titles i was looking for..

I agree. I like not having to go hunting for blus. However, I did go to Best Buy to get the dark knight. As far as other titles I use Amazon. For example, I pre ordered amadeus, bourne trilogy, boondock saints, raging bull and friday the 13th to name a few because I want to make sure I have those titles.

Purchased at Best Buy (payed way too much) they only had 2 copies. Loved this movie.

I went to BB today to buy TDK. And saw Super Troopers! I didnt even know it was coming to Blu. Funny movie, but Im not a fan of rebuying comedies for slightly better PQ.

I would do it for Rushmore since the DVD is in the "windowbox". Letter box and pillarbox are ok, I prefer letterbox.... but windowbox is kinda annoying.

PS- I learned these terms from midnightsailor's awesome "aspect ratio" thread

I watch it every time it's on tv, one of my favorite movies. I think it looks better on a HD channel then it does on my DVD

I buy 99% of my blus on Amazon I usually find them much cheaper there, and I order a couple at a time to get free shipping. I am going to order this movie from them. And yes bring on Club Dread.
