How about putting a "?" in your title instead of a "!"

Having a "!" makes your subject look like the title has been announced.

Still feeling the affects I see. No one should feel like they "was no acid after" seeing this film. Bad trips suck.

Micheal Rennie was ill
The day the earth sood still
But he told us were we stand
And Flash Gorden was there
In silver underwear
Claude Rains was The Invisible Man
Then something went wrong
For Fay Wray and King Kong
They got cauht in a celluloid jam
Then at a deadly pace
It came from... outer space
And this is how the message ran...

It's a great cult flick! I saw this back in high school in the 80's down in Balboa when they used to have a theater which is now gone . They NEED to put this out on blu! My favorite part is when they killed off Meatloaf (I HATE that guy)!

I am an ex cast member of the show in Norfolk, VA.(NARO Theatre on Colley Ave, in Ghent...cheap plug, cheap plug) I played Brad. I performed it more than 1000 times...that is where I met my wife. Nothing but fond memories...crazy, half naked, party all night memories but fond none the less.

I think I ended up deleting my post but in another thread I was mentioning a group of friends that rarely go see any mainstream movies. About the only place they'll go is the Naro. But, they also love Ghent so they're over there a lot. I haven't been to the Naro/Ghent in a while but the last time I went they were showing movies from the best all-time list. I tried to see as many of them as I could (saw several) but the only one I can really remember at the moment is A Streetcar Named Desire. I also saw The Exorcist there but I can't recall if it was part of the top-movies of all-time deal or not.

Anyway, the Naro and Ghent have a lot of character, it's a nice place to go.

Good on you brothah! As a fellow thespian I applaud your longevity. Not too many performers can stick to a performance for that length of time.

As for the parties... the theatre definitely provides some of the most outrageous shindigs. I attended one where we had 18 people (men & women of ages varying from 18 to 65) in a 6 person hot tub. Oh, and did I mention that those 18 people were all completely naked? As one of the initiators, I was one of the first ones in. By the time it got out of hand, I was trapped. I had no choice but to wait it out.

Ah... memories...

I don't think I can ever watch this movie without a theater full of people throwing shit at the screen and yelling obscenities. I spent many Friday midnights at the Rocky Horror Picture Show back when I lived in Raleigh. Those were the days.
