Default Samsung 6176S and BDP-S300 settings?

I have a Samsung HL-T6176S and a Sony BDP-S300.

I was wondering if I should set my BD Player to 24fps output?
I could not find anywhere if my TV will support this.

Thanks.

I have a Sony BDP-S301, which I thought was basically the same player as the 300. Mine supports 24p output. In answer to your question, both the player and the TV must be compatible with this format. If I understand this correctly it has to have a refresh rate that is 24hz or a multiple of that. I'm not completely clear on that. The Sony's very nicely say on the fronts 24p so that there is no confusion. Wish everyone did that. I'm pretty sure the newer LG models also support 24p. Someone correct me if I'm making a mistake here.
