Default Need advice on HDMI cables from monoprice

Does anyone know if I should be mixing different types of cable like the ones listed below? My setup is going to be like this: The PS3 and my Sat. box VIP622 both will have the 3ft short HDMI cable to the manual HDMI switch, then the 35ft HDMI cable to my projector. I am going to use the 8in port savers on the projector and the VIP622 which the VIP622 has had problems with its HDMI port

Oh by the way I finally bought the 80gig PS3 with motor storm and the remote also a extended 2 yr warranty actually my wife bought it because I am on a business trip so I can’t hook it all up until Fri. Feb. 1st getting excited.

PID 2891 HDMI Cable male to female 28AWG Port Saver - 8 inches (Gold-Plated)

PID 2805 HDMI Tin-Plated Copper CL2 Rated (For In-Wall Installation) Cable (22AWG) - 35ft (Gold Plated)

PID 2786 2X1 Manual HDMI Switch - Push Button Type

PID 3991 HDMI 1.3a CL2 Rated (In-Wall Installation) Cable (24AWG) w/ Net Jacket - 3ft (Gold Plated)

It shouldn't make a difference. HDMI is HDMI is HDMI... In 98% of all cases, it will be difficult to notice any visual or audio difference between one cable and the other. Unless, the cable is defective in some way, I predict that you will see the exact same result no matter how you connect your peripherals.

cables are just straight thru wire... differential pairs perhaps at relatively low frequencies... not only are some of these cables obviously 35 feet long, they are digital... and a pair at that. Monster and other companies are making an absolute killing providing cables at 1000% markup when if you had the connectors you could make your own.
Unlikely you will lose any bits on a 3' cable, mixing brands doesn't matter, or lengths or manufacturers

Your cables should be fine. The only problem may show up with the 35' HDMI. That is a relatively long run for HDMI. I know at greater distances that some have had to buy HDMI repeaters(mainly 75' and greater).

Well everything is hooked up and working very well, No problems at all. One question about upconverting DVD's what setting on th PS3 should I use? I think there is a double scale, normal and another setting I can't remember. I have it on the setting right below the normal setting.
