Just curious how I can tell if an HDMI 1.3 cable supports 120h-On the back of the packages it says 60h and 120h support. What my problem is online I cant find any specs on HDMI cables if it supports 120h. Help please...

There's no such thing as a 120Hz HDMI cable. Conversion from 24Hz or 60Hz to 120 Hz is done using some pulldown or frame repetition or mixture of both inside the display and is not a function of the source content, the transport or the medium. Transmission speeds between switched interfaces is a constant based upon the negotiated best capabilities of each side; they don't vary based upon the framerate of the source or the display's manipulation.
Find a 1.3a certified cable from a manufacturer that you trust and go with it. Most of the stuff you read is pure marketing hype and flash. |
