Post Blu-ray Distributor vs Studio

Hi. I have a question about the correct use of the "Studio" entry in the Blu-ray listing.

The hint says:
The Blu-ray distributor shall be listed as the releasing studio, not the original production studio. For example, a Disney title released by Mill Creek Home Entertainment shall be listed under Mill Creek Home Entertainment. Titles released under a parent subsidiary will be listed under the parent. For example, Scream Factory titles shall be listed under Shout! Factory and Sony Pictures Classics shall be listed under Sony Pictures.

My question is what to use if a local distributor uses a "unified" disc (not sure about the correct term), which is released not exclusively by a local distributor, but it's used by other countries' distributors as well.
I usually use local distributors in all cases, but I was warned by another user that these cases should use the original releasing studio.

So how is it? Should the local distributor be used only if it comes from the original authoring by this distributor and not only distributing the existing disc?

I would recommend use the distributor info on the disc / cover. That makes the most sens in the long run and is tracable backwords in the future if the local distributor vanish from reason.

To me, a local "distibutor" that does not add any info on the disc / cover is not a distributor but a retailer.
