There are now two different listings on Amazon, set for April 18th. One of them gotta be a 4K one, since it has been already released on Blu few years ago .

Wonder if there'll be any complaints about a persistent haziness over the image...

The Blu-ray had some of that Paramount grain futzing and less than great compression although a decent release especially with the nice underlying scan. Day one purchase unless it's really botched.

Hopefully it is a 4K release. It's not uncommon for Paramount to do Steelbook re-releases for anniversaries (see: The Ring, Chicago, Mean Girls, etc..). There being two listings seems more promising though.

Would be nice if we could get a proper pressed edition of Still Smokin'. Didn't most of them glitch out half way through the disc? I've held off on buying a copy. Did anyone buy a copy that played flawlessly?

I held off buying it also... especially with it being a BD-R, and the playback issues.

What else didn't Paramount screw up with that release though? Even the back cover's "credit block" is for an entirely different movie! They must have been smokin' something...
