Default 24 season 7?

Anyone know anything new on season 7 of 24? It was supposed to air on January 13th originally but delayed due to the writer's strike... now that the strike is being resolved, any info out there?

I heard they finish the first 8 episodes but they are never going to be seen cause of the strike.

If they scrap the whole new season I'm hunting down the writers one by one and killing them Bauer style.

The only thing I heard so far is Season 7 will not be shown until they finish all 24 eps.

Even with the strike being resolved it's not going to be until either fall of this year or Jan 09

Because FOX airs the World Series in the Fall and they want 24 to run uninterrupted... my guess is January 2009.

And I applaud them for this. I wish Disney would've do the same for Lost.

Note - this is coming from an extreme 24 fan

If the strike ends tomorrow, they can still finish the show. I'm very sure there's a lot of people under orders to hit the keyboard the second it's lifted

They have pieces of at least 3 more episodes partially shot, and with only 8 to go, they can finish it in time (typically it's 6 weeks from the time the first scene is shot until the ep hits TV)

24 from what i hear the plan is to resume shooting for all 24 episodes, and then take a break until July 2009 to recharge everyone's batteries and let Kiefer and the other regulars do some movies and other side projects

I don't think it's a good idea to rush the bottom 8 episodes of Lost... better they do it right and maintain the same level of quality we are all accustomed to and hold off the bottom 8 for the fall (the best solution would have been to air ALL 16 in the fall).

It's not a rushjob. They alreaday have the entire rest of the show mapped out.

Like I said, they have a large percentage of 9,10,11 already shot. The editors refuse to assemble them while the strike is going on

6 weeks is standard TV schedule on a show from first shot to air, on some shows it's 4
