There's literally 0 reason for it not to be with Zombies getting a TV-MA and Deadpool 1 and 2 and Logan being added to D+ along with all the Netflix shows. Jon Bernthal did say he was only interested in doing it right after all.

None of them are/were censored BTW.

agreed I blocked them after they said a Storm D+ Series was happening.

We'll see what happens. I expected to maybe see something like this for Hulu, but not Disney+. I honestly figured Disney wasn't even going to try and use the Punisher.

He was great in the role, so hoping he comes to the main MCU. Didn't care for the Netflix series at all (won't re-watch it). Hope if Disney does it they do it, do it better (and true to the character).

Not a fan of Bernthal in the role. I want my Punisher to be smart & tactical as well as uncompromisingly brutal.

Bernthal can do the violence fine & he looked the part, but he just came across as a bit 'thick' (for want of a better word). Much preferred Thomas Jane or Ray Stevenson, even if the movies weren't perfect.

The Netflix series was decent for a Netflix series, but was overall pretty forgettable IMO. I think this character would work way better in a different time period like the 70's.

Disney+ is finally seeing the benefits of some R-rated or TV-MA content instead of having them all on Hulu. Not everything from Disney is family oriented but they should prepare themselves for backlash from those whiny parents or Karens even if they the option for parents to block such content.

Hopefully, Punisher will not be a complete reboot but if this has to do with Multiverse can we get comic book accurate Jigsaw.

I rewatched Punisher S1 and it's a bloodfest. It was also on Disney+. Lol.

But I'm excited for this. Especially because Bernthal is co-writing. He understands The Punisher character well.
