USA Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night II 4K UHD (1987) (Red Shirt Pictures/Synapse)

More news as this story develops...

Announced tonight by Michael Felsher via Facebook livestream.

A few morsels of information from the livestream:

Fright Night Part 2 and Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night II will definitely be 4K UHD. The other announced titles are to be determined but Felsher did say this, "If you're wondering if there's gonna be a 4K re-release of Prom Night... maybe. Well, ya never know. We're gonna be doing 4Ks of the other ones... it would seem to, you know... but that's not mine. That won't be through Red Shirt Home Video. That's a Synapse release"

Will be getting "The Trick or Treat treatment." Multiple covers including the theatrical artwork.

The making of documentary will be called "The Haunting of Hamilton High" to match "The Horrors of Hamilton High" making of for the original Prom Night. And he did get an interview with Michael Ironside.

He is aware of the possible existence of the original cut of the movie before they decided to make it a Prom Night film but it's too early to say if it is available. Although, Chris MacGibbon gave him a lead on a potential early version of the movie a few weeks ago. As for the missing gore footage, "way too early but that's on our radar."

Likely won't be a boxset of all the films because he doesn't want to hold up the releases but doesn't rule out releasing them all individually and then "offer a box you can put em all in."

Michael Felsher also says, "another good thing about announcing these things kinda early is that, uh, people came come out of the woodwork and say 'I heard you working on this I have this rare thing from the movie.'" So he is encouraging everyone to reach out to him if you have anything and to be persistent and remind him since he has a lot going on. And he ain't kidding.

Below is Synapse's Facebook announcement.
