Tough competition with John Wick opening and not a great reaction by the people who’ve already seen it. It will be the lowest grossing theatrical only DCEU movie and finish well below DC’s Super-Pets from last year even.

Remember when John Wick 1 opened to $14 million, now this series is doing more than double that opening day. Also has the first A cinemascore in the series (previous sequels had an A-, the first film was more divisive with a B).

80% Friday to Friday drop for Shazam, yikes! WB should just dump it on HBO Max in a few weeks.

I didn't see a separate thread for A Good Person and just wanted to let people know it's a very well done film. Florence Pugh and Morgan Freeman gave great performances. The film is a bit depressing though.

It didn't open anywhere within an hour and a half of me. If it doesn't expand next weekend I'll take a trip to go see it. I love Braff's Garden State and Wish I Was Here. I'm sure I'll be a fan of this too.
