Disk Kino is going to release the original classic animation The Monkey King: Uproar In Heaven (1961-1964) in its original two-part version on Aug 1st.



- 2K restoration of the complete two-part version from the original film elements by Xi'an Film Studio, with tons of additional restoration works and color grading by Disk Kino
- Original Mandarin track in LPCM Mono
- Alternative credits for international release (HD, 1 minute)
- Story of Movie: Monkey King and Me (30 minutes) - the TV program on the making of this iconic animation film

Just FYI, Buyoyo sent out an email a few days ago saying that shipping to the US is back to normal. I don't know what that means, as I did receive a duty-free package from them after tariffs went into effect. I've also received a couple more from elsewhere (A/V media only, which might have some sort of exemption from the tariffs). Same deal.

Anyway, I just wanted to point that out, in case any Americans are thinking about ordering this or any other Disk Kino releases.
