Hello,
Apologies in advance for the newbie question. I can't seem to find an answer to my specific question anywhere online. When films are newly released on 4K disc and are packaged with an accompanying Blu-Ray disc, is the Blu-Ray generally based on the new 4K scan or are they more likely to just be the same version of the film that was previously released on Blu-Ray? For example, the recent Scream 2 4K release came with a Blu-Ray. Is this Blu-Ray technically an upgrade on previous scans of Scream 2 available on Blu-Ray? I hope this isn't a silly question 😬 Thanks! |
