Never heard of it but I like supporting Makeflix and this sounds great! Also ordered a couple other DVDs to go along with the order: Girl From Bikini Trilogy, Christine Nguyen Sci-Fi Double Feature and The Christine Nguyen Collection.

RE: SONS OF STEEL
Has anyone got the disc? Is it pressed or burned? The website of Future Video says it‘s a MOD-25 disc, but other sources (e.g. screenanarchy.com) claim that it‘s a pressed disc. The edition is limited to 1500 and I wonder why they would do that if it‘s indeed made/burned on demand. Maybe Future Video uses the term „MOD“ like Warner Archives does. Also, Future Video say their disc is in the OAR of 1:1,33 - but it rather looks like an open matte presentation to me. Since I‘m not in the business of buying burned discs I‘d like to have clarification from a reliable source before I pull the trigger. |

I bought the blu-ray and the LP on Vinegar Syndrome's online store. The short film Knightmare is pure genius work. Mixing Heavy Metal, post-Nuke and cricket! That also made me realize I didn't know early Aussie Heavy Metal scene. I know a few recent old-school HM bands like Johnny Touch or all those bands from Tasmania, the two big 80s Thrash band (Mortal Sin, Hobbs Angel of Death), and obviously some extreme metal gems (Slaughter Lord, Sadistik Exekution, Bestial Warlust, the black thrash scene).
