Similar theme of guns/swords as with Rise of Ronin 2024, this Ishin for 2023 as more of a direct action game. Interesting timing for both revealed at the same State of Play.

I hope we get Kenzan too since that was released first it’s odd to see that we are getting the second one, not that they were directly related in story so doesn’t really matter which is played first.

Can’t believe it’s taken this long to get an English release of this game.

Also seems like games based in historical Japan are becoming the new Zombie game what with AC doing it then then these and the Team Ninja game.

I haven’t actually looked in to how long the game is, if it’s anything like the other Yakuza games you can probably sink at least 50 hours in to it.

I just got done with Yakuza 0 and ended up with a play time of 148 hours.

I’m terrified on how many hours I sunk into the series (0-6, Judgment & Lost Judgment and Like a Dragon). According to https://howlongtobeat.com/game/26922 it’s 23 hours but 48 with side missions.

With how great a dub Yakuza 7 got, it's a little sad to see it looks like Ishin won't receive the same treatment, but I'll live.

Gamestop is the only retailer (so far) with a steelbook for this. This is my first physical PS5 purchase (I love the series).

Received the game a couple days ago but just finally got the steel in the mail today. Never had this before with BestBuy. Usually it's the opposite scenario.
